April 2021<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In what has become one of the longest summer holidays I had in years due to the COVID pandemic back in my homeland Southern Brazil I had the absolute pleasure to work with an incredibly talented artist Felipe Camara in the video of his gospel and soul infused tune Pardon Me. And also been blessed to reunite with my long time friend from my soul band days, the singer Andr\u00e9a Cavalheiro<\/a>! Check his work out in his Instagram page @eufelipecamara<\/a><\/p>\n

Nesse longo ver\u00e3o brasileiro tive o provil\u00e9gio de trabalhar com este talentos\u00edssimo jovem artista brasileiro Felipe C\u00e2mara no video do seu mais recente lan\u00e7amento, a can\u00e7\u00e3o fortemente influenciada por soul e gospel music Pardon Me. Aaaand we did it again! For our series of Bisa’s CoLab Sessions<\/a> now we do a cover of the \u201874 Chaka Khan \/ Stevie Wonder classic \u201cTell Me Something Good\u201d with the talented Elize Kellman<\/a> on lead vocals, Benedict Green<\/a> on bass, BVs and coolest collection of shirts ever, Sam Woods<\/a> on guitar, Tim Nugent<\/a> on drums and me, Edu Bisa Bisogno @edubisogno on my \u201871 Hohner Clavinet D6 through a Dunlop Wahwah Crybaby pedal and a Fender Blues Jr., and for the Talkbox I\u2019m using my FM synthesis Yamaha DX100 synthesiser through a MXR talk box pedal captured by a Rode NT2-A condenser mic. Mixed by me and my brother Vinzenz Benjamin @vinzenzbenjamin, mastered by Loz Fat As Funk Mastering @fat_as_funk, video editing by yours truly. Gotta love this tune! <\/span><\/p>\n

E l\u00e1 vamos n\u00f3s de novo! Dando continuidade a s\u00e9rie Bisa’s CoLab Sessions<\/a> desta vez regravamos esse cl\u00e1ssico de 1974 da Chaka Khan, composto em parceria com Stevie Wonder. Nesse v\u00eddeo temos essa turma de m\u00fasicos de Londres Elize Kellman nos vocais, Benedict Green no baixo, Tim Nugent na bateria, Sam Woods na guitarra e eu to tocando um Clavinet D7 com um pedal de Wah-wah Crybaby e ligado num amp Fender Blues Jr captado por um microfone Shure SM57, e pro Talkbox to usando um teclado dos anos 80 Yamaha DX100 plugado no pedal da MXR Talkbox e captado por um mic condenser Rode NT2-A. A mixagem foi uma parceria minha com o Vinzenz Benjamin e masterizado pelo Loz da Fat As Funk. Back in November 2020 I got invited to join the duo Ferris & Sylvester<\/a> for the live recording sessions of their latest tunes, an ambitious project to take place in the legendary Real World Studios owned by Peter Gabriel. It was magical!

Em novembro do ano passado recebi o convite desse talentoso dueto de folk rock Ferris & Sylvester para um projeto no m\u00ednimo, ambicioso: colocar 5 m\u00fasicos que nunca haviam tocado juntos num dos mais lend\u00e1rios est\u00fadios de grava\u00e7\u00e3o do Reino Unido, o Real World Studios do Peter Gabriel para gravar 5 m\u00fasicas in\u00e9ditas sem poder se juntar pra ensaiar antes devido as restri\u00e7\u00f5es da pandemia. Eu tive o privil\u00e9gio de pilotar esse lindo \u00f3rg\u00e3o Hammond C3 plugado numa caixa Leslie 147 que eles tem l\u00e1, al\u00e9m do meu piano el\u00e9trico Wurlitzer 200A e o Nord Electro 6D pra tocar um Piano Bass a la Ray Manzarek.
